Sanrio Co., Ltd. (head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomokuni Tsuji; hereinafter “Sanrio”) will exhibit for the first time under its own gaming brand “Sanrio Games” at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026, one of Japan's largest game exhibitions, held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17 to Monday, September 21, 2026 (national holiday).

Sanrio Games is Sanrio's first in-house gaming brand, launched in April this year, and this marks the brand's memorable first-ever exhibit at TOKYO GAME SHOW, where it will be exhibiting in two areas: the Exhibition booth and Family Game Park. At each booth, visitors can play pre-release demos of Hello Kitty Party Land, the brand's first title — a party game for Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2 launching on October 29, 2026 — and Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!, a dance & rhythm game for smartphones set for release in 2027. In addition, game illustrations of the “Knights” and “Lords” appearing in FRAGARIAMEMORIES Color of Wishes, a new smartphone title whose production was announced in November 2025, will be unveiled for the first time in an exhibit spanning an entire wall. The venue will be decorated with designs featuring Sanrio characters, offering a space where visitors can experience the world of Sanrio Games.

On the stages set up in each booth, Sanrio characters will appear every day, with Kuromi delivering a DJ performance and Pompompurin — who took first place in the “2026 Sanrio Character Ranking” — putting on a live performance. Stages featuring a variety of other guests are also planned. In addition, exclusive novelty items will be handed out to visitors who come and try the games.

Stage Events Featuring Sanrio Characters!

The stages in each booth will host stage events exclusive to TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026, featuring Sanrio characters and guests. At the Exhibition booth, Kuromi will deliver a DJ performance featuring songs planned for inclusion in Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! And on Sunday, September 20, Family Game Park will host the “Pompompurin Special Stage,” starring Pompompurin, who took first place in the “2026 Sanrio Character Ranking.”

Throughout the event, Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody, Pompompurin, and Cinnamoroll will also appear at the Exhibition booth. Hello Kitty will debut a special costume inspired by Sanrio Games. In addition, right after doors open on Public Days, Sanrio characters will welcome visitors near the booth.

Hello Kitty Party Land (Exhibition booth / Family Game Park)

A party game for Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2 launching on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Hands-on demos will be held at the venue ahead of the release, where you can get an early taste of content included in the full game, such as a variety of mini-games, avatar dress-up, and the sticker book.

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! (Exhibition booth)

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! is a smartphone game scheduled for release in 2027. At the event, visitors can get a hands-on experience with this "super KAWAII" rhythm-and-dance game, as well as enjoy dress-up customization features for Sanrio characters and for the live stages that appear in the game. In the game, players will be able to play songs inspired by Sanrio characters.

FRAGARIAMEMORIES Color of Wishes (Exhibition booth)

A new smartphone game title from FRAGARIAMEMORIES, the chivalric fantasy project whose production was announced in November 2025. Newly drawn game illustrations of the “Knights” and “Lords” appearing in the title will be unveiled for the first time at the venue.

Exclusive Novelty Items for Visitors Who Come and Try the Games!

Visitors who come and try the games will receive a sun visor featuring Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, or Pompompurin. The sun visors come in a special TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 design. Additional exclusive novelty giveaways and gift campaigns are also planned.
